Rain

A clouded mind will always bring about rainfall,

Summoned by dancing on anxiously plowed fields,

Trying not to have your actions seen as obscene,

Only tragedy lies in sunk costs, committing to a lie,

Not being able to convince yourself of hard truths,

Desolate ground won’t be ready for the greens,

Waiting in anticipation, finally reached the third act,

But you have yet to revolt, to have created a scene,

Will you prosper as an actor in this play?

Shed off the skin that’s trapped you into habits,

Habitats exceeding physical prisons, mental models,

Or risk being pulled off stage, hidden, curtains close,

Message delayed, fields frozen over, plants relayed,

Will your reign be reined in or will your reign rain?
