Heaven or Hell

Questions left my ancestors seeking answers in the sky,

Proclaiming paradise was out of reach, mortal bodies couldn’t fly,

Righteousness they endeavored to teach, fearing a sinister force,

But both places have always existed here, influencing, chartering our course,

For heaven and hell take their stately seats in our malleable mind,

And you will find that whichever seed you plant will respond to you in kind,

Brothers and Sisters, drop the spades and spread your wings,

Rise, rebuild your empires, crown yourselves Queens and Kings.
