An Italian Summer, 2023

A) Notes

Stan figured out the route on his treasure map, and so we began our side quest for the day, capping off the month of July by tangentially disappearing for a moment from our main adventure of pilgrimage, on our rented steeds.

The ride first finds itself on a seaside slice of Campobasso, a province in the region of Molise, Italy. The journey flows from Lido Campomarino, a hamlet touching the Adriatic sea, eventually pausing at one of its local pizzerias. It then flies down the valley, climbs up to the town of Guglionesi, passes the port town of Termoli, and ends where it started – 55 kilometers & 9 hours later, burnt to a crisp (I should have put on some sunscreen).
